PROJECTS

REMAR GHANA has put in place plans for very laudable but also important projects to aid in its development and future advancement. Since we have a very spacious land at our first phase farm at Pakro near Nsawam, we have envisaged grandiose but realistic projects which will extremely benefit the Association.

Since REMAR is a charitable Non-Governmental Organization (N.G.O), as well as a Non-Profit making entity, we are counting on the blessings of God and the benevolence of institutions and individuals to realize these noble ambitions.

Firstly, we plan to build a school for over 300 children, including those from REMAR and surrounding villages. This will compose in its premier phase: a nursery and a primary classroom block. This will later be developed to include a Junior Senior High School and a Vocational Training Centre, to help the inmates acquire a vocation.

Secondly, we also have in place a dormitory project to house over 200 inmates who are rehabilitating from drugs and alcohol at the farm. This objective aims at distancing the rehabilitants from the corrupting influences of city life. These rehabilitants will also engage in occupational therapy such as agriculture on the farm, and also acquire vocations at the proposed Training Center.

Finally, REMAR GHANA has projected the construction of a grand but economical block of flats for married couples who are also inmates, at the farm. They will largely be in charge of the administration and teaching duties at the proposed schools, as they bring to bear their large parental experience on the upbringing and training of the school children. Suffice to say that all these future projects can be mainly achieved through the collective prayers of all, divine guidance, and the financial and material contribution of all and sundry.
